A Quiet Murder In A Snowstorm

detached from warm remembers
and ribboned on the throat
detached from carpal members
sacked in his own coat
detached sometime in november
and left for the appraiser
nickels turned to shackles
earth made into mud
bound for no more than homeward
but bound and spun undone
