Revoluting

Revoluting
by fLOT

Coagulating sunshine and blue sky
Melted into my mind
Sentences framing words
Cancelling wanderings
I had scheduled

Little mental developments
Snowballing with gravity
Explaining what we all can see

Suggestions and suggestability
Propose ideas inside of me
I vocalize the floating systems
Allowing and debilitating actions

Concrete in my head developing
Explanations of the edified extrapolations
Fancy words sound good together
Voiding the mindless meandering

Pushing pulling lifting and culling

Ripping open new realms
Tipping over old carts full of cartographers
Mapping the revoluting culture and language
Against the moments we live inside and around
Barely understanding whatever we can

Happy to have that
Happy to have anything

Italics

Italics

We entered into italics
through the font door
bent on any emphasizing of
the unmentioned qualities of
a word inside a context or
text chopped up re-arranged
in a different order
some hop skotch hodge podge
indicating how often
Bill cut-up his words versus
Jack’s essentials of spontaneous prose roses
of cutting beauty in
immediate form never nurtured.

The way never changed (much any way)
after the original preconceptions
proved to be remembered
to paper’s posterity permanently.

Provenance

The Ocean claims provenance of potential to be a never ending vision linking lands and providing a platform to float until the madness recedes into the past and each day renews itself as dawn turns night over to the new day fLOT

One By Three

One By Three

I’m not that type writer

Deleting doubts

Selecting emotional sure-shots

More like I’d subject you

Into celebrating natural selection

Focused directions westerly intimating

Tables hold things and chairs hold people

Ideally, one page feeds at a time

Avoiding jams of traffic, raspberry and paper

And fish of cats and dogs and

Monks with bowls turned up or down

Permeating skin surface dreaming

Under all the misconceived ideas

I have ever imagined inside one dream

Or one day of calamity clamoring through

Then no more ever

Only questions without fear of retired retributed

Crossed purposes and redirected ingredients

Listed one by one because

nothing is ever one by two or

one by three

sitting standing walking lying

on a rug, like a rug

cutting said carpet with culinary academics

cleaned up or corrupted out

if you like misdirection

I am her leader

Clearer and without all the insincere

Without tears and with a sense of

Urgent sense of common matter

Not tense or insensitive

I’m culminating months like

A sandman makes glass

Sculpturing air into wind

Pine into knots

And would be’s into yesses

I’m fulminating right now

Jumping silently writing down how

And if indeed you need to follow

Choose yourself

Empower the hollow feeling

That never burns

Spark the fire

Inside your own belly

I’m not that type writer

Turquoise Turned The Turtle's Head

Turquoise Turned the Turtle’s Head

Turquoise turned the turtle’s head

Dog-like in conveying his lack of understanding

The beauty of this jewelry

He slowly passes and

It’s nothing like this turtle has ever seen before

Perpetually slow, saved and surreal

Forever remembered

The first fragile time

Turquoise turned his mind

Slow to speak

The turtle turned his turtle head

Slow to speak and turning he slowly said

“This stone I see

Commands my attention

I am connecting to it

Like no other connection”

Turquoise, turtle, time and place

Turtle, turquoise and a slow pace

Like some example of rapt attention

Focusing on a certain selection

A slice of sunshine in a slow, slow life

Universal Beeswax by fLOT

I know now
The sky’s expansive pastures are forgiving and

Forgiving another forgives yourself
Inundated daily
By suffering of temporal existence
Which blows away like
The lightest and softest snow
On the very top
As gust greets morning on mountain

Same as we are thrust through space
Inside a primordial energetic seashell schwirl
Accepting the outcome
That informs each next moment

The softest snow blown off the top
Hits the cold atmosphere and
Becomes unfeeling and harder
Falling back to grounding at lower elevation
Having a snowflake epiphany
Melting into the warm dirt
Sunrays on brown earth

I know now I get it
Forgiving another forgives yourself
It’s universal beeswax
Not mine
Not yours
Ours

Blowing off the very top
The softest snow turns cold and hard
Then disintegrating falling melting evaporating
Back into the cycle again and
Here we go again!

If/Blink

If/Blink
by sam floT

(I’m disassociating
Mind place and person and)

I’m the figure you see
From a distance
On top of a hill
Next to a small cluster
Of small trees

Just a silhouette
Ambiguous and indirect inside

(If my eyes blink it changes)

And

I’m hurtling through
A tunnel dark
All arrows trying to see
Trying to understand
What my vehicle is

What’s taking me there?

(If my eyes blink it changes)

I’m back on
What feels like and looks like
A California rolling hillside
No trees but I’m in a forest
Of windmill turbines
Duplicated repetitions
Placed equidistant from or to
Each other

(If my eyes blink it changes)

And

I’m on the ocean now
Floating,
Not gently
As if down a placid river
But a constant rag doll
Thrown down and up and all around
By the sway of the inevitable
Ocean consistent

Always in conveyance of the metaphor
Up and down
Up an down
The sway of the inevitable ocean consistent

(If my eyes blink it changes)

I’m back on the hilltop
I’m back in the tunnel
I’m in a windmill forest
I’m floating, not gently on the Ocean

Bounced around and wondering
Bounced around and wondering

Hilltop
Tunnel
Windmill forest
Floating, not gently on the Ocean

Bounced around and wondering
Bounced around an wondering

Deliver the Sun

Deliver the Sun
by sam floT

I see the sun galloping on clouds
Beyond the neighbor’s mossy rain-stained rooftop
Breaking through the distance
Nowhere near me, but looming, I see the sun
I long to feel it’s warmth after a cold dreary day

Birds chirp despite it all and it will come
I know it will be here
As I anticipate its arrival
A lone bird flies across my view
Unable to wait, flying to the sun
I am jealous at his seeming insistence

Seek and find he says
Do not seek and still find, I say

It works both ways, he replied

The Story of Where and When Time Met Space

The Story of Where and When
Time Met Space
by Sam Flot

He said:

This trail we’re taking is a circle
If we start at the end
We can reflect on the grove in the middle
We can see the coast near the beginning
Which is our end

She said:

If we start at a point
Unforgiving transporting
The real evidence we find
Is life is supporting and
Gives us no warning
No flags to indicate which way to go
Arrows point everywhere, but, ummmm…

Now I get it
It takes me a minute sometimes
We’ve been waiting for you
Where ya been?
You must be Time?
Welcome
So nice to meet you
Everyone ‘round here calls me Space

He said:

Subverted contorted
Fast down or slowed up

I’m waiting for no one
I’m on nobody’s side
I must say the pleasure’s all mine
This time

And
She said:

Contracted or reported
All close tight or spread out
My frontier is the air
And I like mine clear

Have we been here before?
Have we met?

Cause it seems to me
Déjà vu or fantasy, previously
We’ve had some sort of intersect

He said:

I am fastidious
Slow, not pretentious
I’m exacting and yet I forgive
My heart beats metronome rhythm

I heal all wounds
I’m wasting
I’m short
I’m money!
She said:

I am undefined and infinite
Instant and unknown
I provide taste in music
Emphasis on timing
Room to just breathe
Or to imagine
Unparalleled lands of promise
Not sands falling through a glass figure

He said:

Our meeting was sanctioned
The day they invented
Anything thought to be measured

She said:

They told me you’d be here
I’ve waited everywhere
Finally the moment is here

He said:

Space you’re so beautiful
So soulful and endless
So open and calm like a breeze

Space you surround me

I can’t find a place
Where I don’t want to be where you are

She said:

Time you keep talking
Ticking not stopping
Just stop for a minute and listen

Let’s stop all the thinking
And
React without shrinking
Away from this light we create

He said:

My heart is standing
On my head undemanding
Hoping you’ll give me some room

She said:

Step inside, Time
I’ve got nothing but room
For your vast and infinite mind

And

I think that we’ll find
The beginning was fine
Not yours, not mine

For right now
We may meet again Space
Somewhere in the very near future

Solved by Sam Flot

SOLVED
by Sam fLOT
Flashing out from inside the burning inner being
Self-Learning indulgently to take in the flow
And accept what comes towards me
To make the best of all the waves informing me
Ceaselessly, slowly building chaos
Into some kind of chatterbox order
Sane only when considered with static undertones
Overlaid with blissfull excavation extended
Coming out from the natural middle
Coming out from consciousness of bended emergence
Combining clarity of vision to the physical world
Permeating any false considerations
Rendering them useless
So that when all the ifs are added up
And all the maybes are subtracted
Then we can understand the beauty of the rift
We find inside ourselves
Inside so far it was outside almost any type of
Literal canvas or painted window
Any drumskin or stop sign
Searing into the middle center soul
Based inside but often displayed to humanity
Like newborn chicks try to cross the highway
Blasting out in all directions
Exploding asteroid parts
Sent through the universe in perfect syncopation
Over dimensions already uncovered to finish up
With all these cohesive parts
Making one giant puzzle
Ready to revolve
Evolve
And be solved

Are You Awake and Free?

Are You Awake and Free?
by Sam Flot
10.18.oh2

Are you Awake and Free?

When will you even commence to understand?
When will the confluence of our powers be reunited and brought to fruition?

Are you Awake?

When will our physical beings come together to communicate on a realm other than existential?

Are you free?

Do circumstances leave you available for a chance to get together?

Are you Awake and are you Free?

Do you have the imagination, fear, pride and appreciation for beauty to keep up with us?

Do you have a sense of humor?

Are you Awake and are you Free?

Do you have an ability to lose logic and suspend impending reality?
Do you know how to punch with the Rolls?
Do you go with it or resist the flow?

Are you Awake?
Are you Free?
Are you Awake?
Are you Free?

Are you Awake and are you Free?

Buddha's Brain Game

Buddha's Brain Game
by Sam Flot

Teasing Buddha's Brain Game
Situated by his buddy the bodhi tree

Facilitating a game
Of words and philosophy
Slipping subsets into genres
Slipping anthems from aphorisms

Spreading the words
Amongst the People of Peace
Who respect moments of Dharma
Dropped on their
Non-coconut heads

Not becoming a mango
But becoming understanding
Of the inter-relational basis
Of vibrations
Between me and the mango

Between me and
What I perceive to be
My illusion of myself

My perceptional mind-state
Understanding
How fruit and energy and
Chaos theory and
Elephants folowing elephants following elephants
Attached to each other

Leaving no elephant behind
To be alone

and

If you ask
Is it always because
You don't know
Or are there occasions
Where maybe you either
Already know the answer
Or don't need to know
But wanted to relate
Or wanted to cause
An interaction?

On a sidewalk
Or on a dance floor
Or in a heartbeating moment

Which may have just
Come and gone
Or which may be right now
Or maybe not just yet
