there's been a bright star hanging low in the sky of late
not long after it gets dark

I don' t have any star charts, and I
don't know really know any of their names
or even if this one was there this time
last year

lets get away from the lights of this town
and watch it race across the sky, and maybe
throw some rocks to see if it'll flinch
at fools like us
